Staff from the Eastern Region Training and Technical Assistance Center are hosting a Pre-Application training session in Jacksonville, Florida at the Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport.

In this 2-day training, participants will learn how to:

1.) Understand ANA Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) evaluation criteria;

2.) Format, package, structure, and submit a funding application, and;

3.) Register and apply via Grants.gov.

We encourage attendees to come prepared with a developed project idea. This allows attendees to apply lesson principles and complete activities more easily.

Note: Participation in these training sessions are limited to individuals who are employed by or are governing officials of tribal governments and Native nonprofit organizations serving American Indians, Native Hawaiians, Alaskan Natives, and Native American Pacific Islanders. Independent grant writers must fax or email a signed letter from the Tribe or Native Organization they will be writing a grant for prior to the training in order to attend.
